発電所の概要

砥山発電所は、北海道電力が運用・管理する水力発電所です。
昭和47年（1972年）5月に運用を開始し、豊平川（砥山ダム）から取水しています。
2016年1月に最大出力を200kW増加させたことにより、最大出力は10,200kWになりました。
これにより、砥山発電所の発電電力量は年間約63万kWh増加すると想定されていて、年間約217トンのCO2排出量削減効果を見込んでいます。
