発電所の概要

玉山発電所は、宮城県栗原市栗駒沼倉にある細倉金属鉱業が所有する水力発電所です。
昭和41年（1966年）1月に運用を開始しました。
最大出力は2,800kWで栗駒ダム（三迫川）から取水し、三迫川へ放水しています。
この栗駒ダムは、堤高57ｍの重力式コンクリートダムで、三迫川の治水とかんがい・発電を主な目的として建設された補助多目的ダムです。
