発電所の概要

ピリカ発電所は、北海道電力が運用・管理している水力発電所です。
平成3年（1991年）5月に運用を開始し、美利河（ピリカ）ダムから取水しています。
この美利河ダムは特定多目的ダムで、ダムの長さが1,480mと非常に長く、河川を横断して建設されたダムとしては日本一の長さとなります。
