発電所の概要

野花南発電所は、北海道電力が運用・管理している日本初のダム式水力発電所です。
初めてという事もあり、大幅に工事が遅れ、昭和46年（1971年）8月に運用開始しました。
野花南ダムから取水を行っており、空知川に放水しています。
最大出力は30,000kWです。
