清水沢発電所

発電所の概要

清水沢発電所は、1940年5月に北海道炭礦汽船株式会社が炭鉱の自家用発電設備として運転を開始しました。
炭鉱の閉山などの理由から自家用発電としての運転はなくなり、1994年4月に北海道企業局に譲渡されました。
2014年に施設の機器が老朽化していることから改修作業を進めており、現在は運転が停止されています。
