発電所の概要

島川原発電所は、長野県東御市島川原にある東京電力リニューアブルパワー株式会社が所有する水力発電所です。昭和5年（1930年）に運用開始しました。
千曲川（西浦ダム）、鹿曲川から取水し、水車2台、発電機2台を使用して最大16,300kWの発電を行い、再び千曲川へ放水しています。

西浦ダム

西浦ダムは、東京電力リニューアブルパワーが管理している発電専用のダムで、1937年に運用が開始されました。堤高14.2m、堤頂長95.0mの重力式コンクリートダムで、最大1万6,300キロワットの電力を発生します。
