発電所の概要

川口第二発電所は、宮城県栗原市一迫にある細倉金属鉱業が所有する水力発電所で、花山ダム直下にあります。
細倉鉱山に電気を供給するための発電所となっています。
昭和32年（1957年）12月に運用を開始しました。
最大出力は1,500kWで、花山ダム（迫川）から取水し、川口第一発電所と迫川へ放水しています。
