岩洞第一発電所

発電所の概要

岩洞第一発電所は、岩手県盛岡市玉山区日戸に位置し岩手県企業局が管理している水力発電所です。
昭和32年（1957年）に着工し、昭和35年（1960年）12月に運用開始しました。
岩洞ダムの貯水水を利用して発電し、発電に使用した水は約7km離れた場所に位置する岩洞第二発電所に直接送っています。
また、発電設備が地下300mの位置にあり、国内有数の地下式発電所です。
