発電所の概要

本別発電所は、北海道中川郡本別町西美里別にある電源開発が管理する水力発電所です。
昭和37年（1962年）9月に運用を開始しました。
仙美里（せんびり）ダムより取水し、利別川へ放水しています。
この仙美里ダムはダムという名前はついていても堤高が15ｍもないため、ダム便覧には記載されていません。
