虻田発電所

発電所の概要

虻田発電所は、水源が洞爺湖で、昭和14年（1939年）10月に4社が設立した洞爺水電組合によって建設され運用を開始しました。
洞爺湖と噴火湾の落差を利用した発電所で、戦時中は需要産業を支える役割も果たしてきた現役の発電所です。
