発電所の概要

破間川発電所は、新潟県魚沼市大白川にある電源開発株式会社が所有する水力発電所です。
昭和60年（1985年）に運用を開始しました。
取水は破間川ダム、放水は破間川で行っています。
この破間川ダムは、高さ93.5ｍの重力式コンクリートダムで、洪水調整、不特定利水、水力発電を目的とした新潟県営の多目的ダムです。
